A Little Bit About Me
Hello all, my name is Dr. Jerrod Killian and I’m a retired U.S. Army Veterinarian. I’ve always loved dogs including my Golden Retriever Jesse that traveled the world with me. Having to let Jesse go due to chronic illness truly crushed me. We buried her next to the cabin my wife, three sons and I built. I often visit her and look up at the stars knowing that she goes on. I included the word “Passages” because I believe the road doesn’t end for our pets and that love finds a way. Just like we honor Jesse, I will help you honor your loved one.

Hello All! My name is Rebecca and I just retired, after 17 years as an elementary school teacher. Due to my military husband (Jerrod), I have taught in Alabama, Italy, Japan, and Texas. These days, I’m looking after our three grown boys and marketing for Gentle Pet Passages. Thank yall!!

Hi, my name is Dr. Lisa Hull. At the age of four, my family adopted our first pet, and it was then and there I decided I wanted to become a veterinarian. After graduating from The Ohio State University, College of Veterinary Medicine, I entered the U.S. Army Veterinary Corps where I served for over 23 years on active duty.
Like most veterinarians, I have had many and multiple pets over the years. Due to military life though, more often than once I was not present when it was time for one of my dear pets to pass. These experiences enhance the deep compassion I hold for the beloved animals that enrich our lives, and to the people who love them. It is my honor to assist your pet with a peaceful passage, in the comfort of your loving presence and home.

Hello, I’m Dr. Amanda Kieffer, and like most veterinarians, my journey with animals has been a lifelong passion. After graduating from Iowa State Veterinary School in 2008, I have had the privilege of serving in various veterinary roles: from military service and public health to teaching, shelter medicine, and animal fostering. My professional goal has always been centered on compassionate animal care and honoring the profound bond between humans and animals.
I currently live in San Antonio with my family and a house full of beloved pets. When the time comes, I’m here to ensure that your pet passes peacefully, surrounded by love and in the comfort of their own home. It’s an honor to be with you and your pet during such a tender moment, and I’m committed to providing the gentle care they deserve.

Hello, my name is Sydney. I was born and raised in Michigan. I graduated in 2013 from Pima Medical Institute with my Veterinary Assistant Certification and have been a Veterinary Technician for over 8 years now. When not working, I enjoy spending time with family and going camping up north with my dogs. I have 5 animals including 2 chihuahuas (Nugget and Luna), and 3 cats (Pumpkin, Sapphire and Willow).
Hi, my name is Haley and I live in Kyle, Tx with my fiancé, 2 dogs and a cat. I have always loved animals and have worked as a veterinary technician as well as a client-care representative for a veterinary integrative medicine clinic. I enjoy getting to connect with people and help provide the care needed for their furry family members. When I’m not working, I love to take my dogs hiking, disc golfing with my fiancé, and painting.
