Please see our pricing matrix below. Prices for in-home euthanasia include a veterinarian driving to your home and spending ~1 hour providing a gentle passage. Virtual Quality of Life Assessments last ~30 minutes and include reviewing records, discussing your concerns, and providing guidance.

The quality of Life of your fur baby will be the heart of our discussion, looking at it through their eyes. Rarely is there is a “Perfect” time to move forward with euthanasia. Rather, there is a “Window of Time” when a gentle passage is a loving option. We will help you discover where you are in this “Window of Time”.

Remote Vet Exam

Key facets of your pet’s condition will be assessed and discussed including appetite, potty control, mobility, activity, comfort, sleep, and overall quality of life.

02 – Gentle In-Home Pet Euthanasia

Pre-euthanasia sedation

A calming injection is administered just beneath the skin using a small needle to help ensure a gentle and peaceful passage.

In-Home Euthanasia

Approximately 15 minutes after the pre-euthanasia sedation, the final injection is administered into a vein, completing the passage within one or two minutes.

Clay Paw

If you wish, we will create a clay paw print as a lasting keepsake to honor your beloved furry family member. One clay paw is included in the euthanasia fee.

Assistance with transport for aftercare

If aftercare is selected, we will respectfully assist with transporting your pet to the crematorium, ensuring they are cared for with dignity every step of the way.

To help honor your pet’s memory, cremation services are available through Fond Memories Pet Cemetery & Crematorium. During this difficult time, Gentle Pet Passages PLLC will assist with coordinating transportation and helping you select the cremation package that best meets your family’s wishes.
If you choose to bury your pet at home, please be sure to check your city’s local rules and regulations beforehand.
FOND MEMORIES offers two cremation options: Private Cremation and Communal Cremation Please see the sections below for more information about each option.
Private cremation provides you with the opportunity to keep your pet’s cremated remains as a permanent and personal keepsake. When you choose private cremation, your treasured pet will be the only pet in the cremation chamber during the cremation process. When the cremation process is complete, they ensure that you receive only the cremated remains of your pet.

*Private cremation package includes the choice of standard urns (see photos below), an engraved name plate, a clay paw (with stand) created at the crematory, and delivery to your primary care veterinarian within two weeks. You can also pick up at the crematory (when contacted) or have delivered to your home by UPS ($35).
With communal cremation, your pet is gently placed into the crematory together with other pets. When the cremation process is complete, the communal remains are collected and placed in a communal burial lot at one of their pet cemeteries.
No cremated remains are returned to you when you choose a communal cremation. You will be provided a clay paw during appointment, if desired.

Memorial Products Section

The Private Cremation package includes one of our standard urns (Remembrance, Cedar, Rosewood, Tan Metalic, and Blue Metalic), engraved name plate, and clay paw imprint with stand (created at crematory).
* Only one clay paw is included in home burials, communal cremation, or private cremation service packages.
* Additional clay paw prints are $50 each.

Fond Memories offers a wide variety of memorial options and products (i.e., non-standard urns and jewelry), cemetery with private burials, and online memorials. Currently, cremation viewing is not allowed due to ongoing renovations. Any selections outside our standard packages are an additional cost that is coordinated with and paid directly to Fond Memories.
